JAVIER ORTIZ-ECHAGÜE
Javier Ortiz-Echagüe has a degree in Art History and a PhD in Information Sciences by Madrid Complutense University. He teached in Carlos III University in Madrid and he was visiting scholar in New York University and in Provence University (France). He published Yuri Gagarin y el conde de Orgaz. Mística y estética de la era espacial (2014), and was the anthology publisher José Val del Omar, Escritos de técnica, poética y mística (2010), as well as co-author with Horacio Fernández of Fotos & Libros. España 1905-1907 (2010). He was the exhibition curator of “Ortiz-Echagüe. Norte de África” (National Museum of Catalonia, Barcelona, 2013) and assistant-curator of Desbordamiento de Val del Omar (Madrid, Reina Sofia Museum, 2010). He is currently professor at the School of Architecture of Navarra University.
